The level that we speak here is between intermediate to performance level since Kanae is playing the songs of her own selection - mostly romantics. 

Kanae works in Finance and had wanted to restart her piano lessons that she stopped years ago as a child.  Motivated by her desire to play a demanding romantic repertoire, the instructor had rebuilt Kanae's techniques by training her through Hanons, scales, arpeggios, and also introduced her to instrumentation, theories, and musical elements.  Since her lessons with Ms. Mak in January 2008, her performance and confidence had blossom steadily in her choice of Chopin Nocturnes, Sibelius, and other beautiful compositions.
