2009: Aidan is currently working on his Grade 5 repertoire exam. Aidan will be performing in Student Winter Concert 2009.
2008: Aidan had prior piano studies before working with Ms.Mak. Aidan came to Ms.Mak at Royal School of Music grade 2 level, and bored with the piano studies. Ms. Mak introduced Aidan to "Everybody's Favorite Children Pieces" working complementary to the grade 3 examination repertoire on developing different musical styles. That quickly ignited Aidan's passion in piano. His enthusiasm propelled him to excel beyond grade 3 in a few short months, mastering all the pieces in the grade 3 book, as well as other "Children's Favorite Pieces" such as "Doll's Dream", "On the Meadow", and Chopin Preludes, as well as the grade 4 book. He's also enjoying Chopin Waltzes and broadway masterpieces such as Phantom of the Opera.
